A native Angeleno, Rachel Nina Schwartz received her M.F.A in Fashion Design at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and began her career in New York City designing contemporary womenswear, menswear and accessories for a roster of clients. Her expertise spans luxury eveningwear, floral design, and  wardrobe/prop styling for photography. She returned to her hometown of Los Angeles in the Fall of 2013 where she continued fashion consulting and began working as a floral designer. After designing for several floral studios she took the leap of founding her own company, The Black Rose.  She currently lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband, daughter, son and extensive collection of house plants.
